The greatest history book of all time is filled with great leaders. It is also filled with leaders that were not great. In fact, they may be considered some of the worst! A great leader is inspired by God, is God-fearing, and has a heart of a warrior. The worst leaders had some things in common: fear, jealousy, and insecurity.
Just because someone is a leader, it does not mean that they are of God. God does place leaders in position, but he also does so for a reason. No one can prevent God’s plans from being carried out. Great power brings neither peace nor security. Superficial loyalty does not impress anyone. A leader cannot interfere with the will of God. Our God is sovereign and uses everything for His good.
God is moved by faith. Small faith, small steps. Big faith, big steps. Which direction are you moving, and at which speed?
